You dont mention that in DS230. It is in I130 and you should have mentioned in that form. Hope you should have a copy of I-130 that you sent to USCIS, check that and will know...it is Q # 22 on I-130. Hope this helps..

I just read other post by you and since your case number starts with BMB you are good ( as it is Bombay Consulate ). You can call NVC but you dont have to worry it is already assigned to Bombay Consulate.

where do we need to mention our local consulate in DS230 or we need to call and tell them? I haven't seen any option to put local consulate name. I am ready to send DS230 tomorrow.

No, pay the bill. Wait for it to clear. Print out the barcoded cover sheet. And send in your DS230 package. No need to wait for NVC to send you any thing.

My parents' I864 just got delivered today with the holiday delay. Hope i can hear something from NVC soon.

09/28/09 - Touched

10/06/09 - Received RFE

10/07/09 - Send RFE request doc.

10/14/09 - Touched (RFE request doc. received by USCIS on oct.13th)

10/27/09 - Approved (approval emails received)

11/05/09 - Rec. both NOA2 in mail. called NVC get case # for mom's case and emails regd.

11/06/09 - called NVC get case # for dad's case and emails regd.

11/09/09 - Received my mom's DS3032 & ASO bill via email

11/10/09 - Paid ASO bill $70

11/12/09 - Received my dad's DS3032 & returned Completed DS3032 forms (By email)

The lady I talked to said that I have to wait till next week for the next set of interview appointments for January as December are full. Thanks! If they get their visa by january then yes. We have some sort of reunion with my other relatives here around February and that would be perfect to have them here by then. Btw, since it was just case complete, when would they have their medicals booked? Do i have to wait for the email notice??
