Anyone receiving the combo email to pay from NVC over and over again

Hi guys,

I have a lawyer who just paid my combo AOS/IV fee bill on Wednesday 03/18/09 @ 4:00 p.m. I know they say allow 3 days for payment to be posted. Is that why we keep getting the same email to pay the bills over and over again? Is it b/c while we paid those bills, the funds have not yet reached the NVC account?

Our online account reflected paid the next day we paid and then yesterday all of a sudden it reflects as not paid, however I am still able to print the payment receipts and cover sheet for both bills. WHAT IS GOING ON???

Can someone please shed some light? Is my theory correct that it's not reflected as PAID as a final status since the funds need 3 days to get to NVC? (It showed IN PROCESS on Wednesday, then changed to PAID on Thursday and now back to NOT PAID)

Even after, I paid both bills but I used to get e-mails about payment (one e-mail for AOS and another for IV fee bills). I called NVC and they advise, “just ignore it as it is system generated e-mails”.

Better, call NVC and make sure about your issue.

I do have the receipts stating both bills were paid and have printed the 2 cover sheets already. But the strange thing is when I asked NVC about it, they said my paper bill was not yet generated and I did not really understand what we would need a paper bill since we got the email go-ahead to pay both online

I am assuming what they meant was that they will be sending both invoices via regular mail along with the "envelope marked DOCUMENTS ONLY" that we are supposed to return to them once DS230 and I 864 and other paperwork are ready.

Am I right?
