I'm flying home to see my parents next week and I was just wondering about how it will go with customs on the way back. I received my permanent residence card last month and don't really know what to expect. Will I have to fill out the I-94? Do I just show passport and greencard or marriage license and all that other stuff as well? Thanks for your answers :star:

Citizens and perm residents DO NOT need an I-94.... They will want the greencard/passport and if your names on the two are different be prepared to bridge the gap (marriage certificate not license)

YMMV

We got a certified copy of our marriage license and had an Apostille from the Secretary of State's office added. My wife takes the originals with her in traveling. No one has ever asked for her marriage license. We also had her married name added to her passport. Airline tickets are in her maiden name which agrees with her International Passport.

My wife's sister got her airline tickets in her married name and took her International Passport with only her maiden name, her GC, and her marriage license. No problems.
