Hi,

I spoke to NVC yesterday and they said that DS 3032 is in the mail. HOwever, she said I could email it and did that right away. However, does that mean that the Aff. Of Support bill has also been sent? Do we need to wait for my husband to receive it or can we pay it now? Will they give me the Invoice number? I have asked before but they did not want to provide it.

Do we need to use the Aff. Of Support that the NVC send or can we download it from uscis.gov and use that one?

Appreciate any advice. I am the most impatient person, I am dying to see my husband!!! So we want to get everything done as quick as possible.

Thanks and cheers!

Hi corinne, I saw in your timeline that NVC sent you request for police clearance and fingerprinting? Did they email you that? How did you know they requested that?

Hi,

When I spoke to them yesterday and found out that the DS 3032 had been sent, she told me I could email it. Which I did as soon as I got off the phone. Then I asked her what else we could do to prepare. E.g. Medical or Police records (it takes up to 3 weeks in Australia). I went today to request police records (It cost $175 AUD) Anyway, she told me not to get my Medical done until I get an interview date. But she told me I could go ahead and request my Police Records now as these will need to be sent with my DS-230 to the NVC. (FYI I am in Australia and my hubby is in USA and she told me that it will all be done at the NVC and that all I need to take to Sydney Consulate is MEdical reports).

Hope this helps,

Let me know if you know otherwise.

Cheers, Corinne

You can always download form I-864 from the USCIS website, it's and you can fill it, then print it out... you don't have to use the one sent to you by the NVC...

Wait till the NVC contacts you, which will be soon, they'll give your Invoice Number and Case Number... then after you get those you can sign into this website and pay the AOS fees.... try to e.mail the NVC your DS-3032 as soon as possible and assign your Husband as the Agent, and type his Address in there! for more information about e.mailing form DS-3032 click here
