AOS after marriage timeline

My fiancee and I are getting married July 7th. Her 90th day in the USA is July 12th or so, so we are 5 days under the 90 day k1 limit.

I have been so busy with planning the wedding I didn't even begin to look at what was needed for the AOS, EAD, and AP.

Well she doesn't have a birth certificate here in the USA (she forgot to bring one) and her parents are going to send her medical records so we can get a civil surgeon to do a I-693A vaccination supplement, but this is going to take some time.

I think I've read that were ok to send in the AOS a couple weeks after the marriage, and this would be a couple weeks past when the k1/I-94 expired, as long as we were married before the 90th day, yes?

Or should I send in the AOS with missing documents on day 88 and let them RFE what they want? (Would rather send it all in later)

Any advice would be appreciated.

Dont send your AOS with tonnes of missing documents! You married in the 90 days so you are fine to take a few weeks extra to get everything sorted out. It took me two months after my 90 days were up to file... do the research, get the paperwork together, and mail when you go it all..

I completely agree with Stina, it's better to wait a bit and then file with all the paperwork being there, than to send an incomplete package.

Yep, we sent off our AOS package about two months after we were married. No problems so far. *crosses fingers*
