the last "official" job prior to the one i have been for 2 months, was in 2007 and i had been working on and off as a nanny (not making much at all) and my parents helping me out, prior to me reentering school in 2007/2008. prior to my job i have now, i was also living off of financial aid money. i never made an exorbitant amount of money nannying. regardless for the last 2 months i have been working a paid, on the books job. i put down on my g325 my employment as a nanny, even though there would be no tax documents to support it because i didnt make enough to necessitate filing any tax papers. i am currently, and have been since 08, a student as well but i did not put this on my g325 because i was technically working...is this going to cause a problem or will it only be once i do the 134? my mother has already said she would co-sponsor for me (and she and my stepdad make way above the 125%).

i figured i should just tell the truth and put down that i was working as a nanny, because regardless if i was paying taxes or even had to, i was still employed by these people. i also put this down on my FASFA (for financial aid) and i also have letters written by my parents when they were supporting me (when I filed for social service assistance a few years ago). basically, i had a mental breakdown and my parents supported me for a few years until i got on my feet. is ths going to count against me?

They do not do credit checks. They will not know about a mental breakdown and if you have a co-sponsor your finances and job are not important.

Always best to tell the truth

so i did the right thing then? i read someone elses post where someone had a similar situation and a reply-er was like OMG U DONT WANT TO OPEN THAT CAN OF WORMS OMG UR GONNA GET INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE and it seemed a bit far fetched to me,anyways, that USCIS has the time to not only backtrack your job history but to go running and tell on u to the IRS if something seemed off.
