I am considering doing DCF from Delhi for my now fiancee. I read in other posts that the visit visa needs to converted by going to FRRO.

In my case i will not be going on visit visa. i have OCI. My company is transferring me to india to work. What would i need to prove residency?

I am aware of that. Since my company is transferring me to india. i am thinking of cancelling K1 petition and going the DCF route.

On the other hand there is residency requirement. In my case i hold OCI ( lifetime, multi-purpose, multi visit visa). So am just trying to find out process for OCI holders to file for I130

I would contact the embassy where you would be filing. Different embassies are willing to accept different documentation. For example, in Denmark, on their website it says you should provide a copy of your residence permit and a printout you get from the government showing everywhere you have resided (they keep tabs on you here, LOL). But, as I am still waiting for my residency permit since immigration in Denmark is backlogged, the embassy accepted other documentation (lease agreement, utility bills, flight showing entrance into Denmark) as proof of continued residency.
