Hi

I'm currently filling all the papers we need for the AOS. I wonder some things...

First, as i came in USA under visa waiver, do i have an alien number? because all i can on my I-94w is a departure number, If i dont have one, i just let a blank field?

We also are not sure about the I-485 application type (part 2). My wife is American and we got married here (I'm French). She thinks we have to check (a.) but I'm not sure.

Thanks a lot! No doubt we'll have a lot more of questions while filling these scary paperworks ^^

You just write "NONE" if you don't have one. Don't leave it blank! Visa Waiver doesn't have an Alien number...

You are "Pending AOS" (at least that's what I wrote!) Someone else may be able to chime in but it worked for me...

OK that's strange indeed... I don't know if it's actually a status "visa waiver" of if i'm considered as a visitor...

Well if someone else has an idea :)

We put 'visitor (VWP)'. 'AOS pending' obviously worked, but everyone could put that, so I thought they were getting at something else. We also put 'none' for A number.

Removing conditions:

10/13/10 - NOA1 date, received 10/18

We are not sure about the I-485 application type (part 2) if we have to check 'a' or 'b'. My wife is American and we got married here (I'm French).
