Catherine,

You sent your package even earlier than ours. The ASC office is in downtown brooklyn. That's the place we went for the last 2 finger prints. And yours ? Maybe Friday I will give a try to walk-in.

Yes, I too my last FP in Livington street, Brooklyn on Jan, 2008.

I see that a lot of people simply walk in and have their bio's done, some even receive an appointment letter and go early and most of the time they seem to allow this. How can I do this too...I don't think I will receive a bio appt since it has only been 12 months since my last bio...can I simply walk in with my passport and most recent NOA which is just the receipt NOA?

Thanks...waiting4visas

Hi Waiting4Visa, Looking at your timeline I hope you will get your Bio letter end of March or the third week of March. I don't think you can walk to the office for Bio without a appointment. Don't worry, you are on right track.

Bappa,

I am in the DC area....I know at least 4 people who have walked in to the ASC on Richmond Hwy in VA...with thier NOA and got thier fp's done...Try it.

It does not hurt..and it is painless.

i sent my application jan 9th, got NOA jan 13th and my notice date was 3/3. my interview is 4/15 in fairfax!

never got my biometrics appointment (see my back posts) but it didn't seem to matter

3 months was so quick

don't give up hope :)

don't know if it was a coincidence but i called last week to inquire why i hadn't received my biometrics appointment. an agent on the phone told me a request would be sent to my local office. little did i know i'd receive an interview request.
