You could try contacting your Senator's office and asking them to investigate for you. Good luck.

Hi,

I am also in the same situation, my application (AOS), was sent 12/2007, and it is still pending up to this date. Well, my husband and I are already aware what happened, because I scheduled for an infopass after several queries over the 1-800 USCIS number. This customer service number is totally and absolutely useless ( I am sorry to say this ), but we got very disappointed because they knew nothing about our case. They can only provide what you can see on their website, and nothing but that only. And if you subscribed to their automatic email, the information you get from that is definitely all the same that you can get from the 1-800 number. ( just sharing, I know most of the people here and the moderators know about this )

We went to a scheduled infopass after about 120 days from our interview. We've learned and we are informed that we have to submit more documentation since what we have initially submitted were not sufficient. We were given at least 4 months to comply.

So, I suggest you also do the same, schedule for an infopass. Prepare all your questions regarding this matter. And if you need to request for EAD (employment authorization document), ask the officer who will assist you so you get all the clarification you needed.

GOD bless you, GOD bless AMERICA!
