Manila Embassy Interview

sure you can stamp it yourself with your fingerprint but you cant put the dry seal on there yourself

i dont know how strict the embassy is about this but just to be sure i had the dry seal and thumbmark put on mine

Guys (F)

I would very much appreciate it if you can ease my worries :help:

It is regarding the NBI Clearance. I was staring at it and noticed the Right Thumb Box in the lower right corner of the NBI Clearance is blank. I didnt worry about it UNTIL I read the note in the lower right corner specifying: "Not valid without dry seal and thumb print". :hehe:

When they released my NBI Clearance, I was just too happy to finally get it after a harrassing several hours falling in line under the sun. I went home immediately and never looked back.

Was I supposed to place my right thumb print on the NBI Clearance? Someone told me that the thumb print info is already embedded in the bar code above the right thumb box.

Will the embassy care about the Right thumb mark? Should I buy a black stamp pad and start putting my right thumb print there?

Information on what you did/submitted would be greatly appreciated.

with many thanks,

mac

Hey! I got exactly that same scare myself when i went got my NBI clearance. I got home and realized i forgot to have my thumb print marked on there. I freaked out and drove right back to the NBI office only to find out that i could have gotten a black stamp pad and put my thumb mark on the clearance myself...lol

So it's your call...go back to the NBI office and spend about 5 mins to get you thumb mark on it...or buy a stamp pad. Whichever is most convenient for you....just make sure you have your thumb mark on your NBI clearance.

Congratulations to ckoahou, Greg2005, and soulseeker

Approvals always bring tears to my eyes :P

Cheers,

Andrea (L)

It looks like we are in a similar situation with our visa (K-3) and timelines. How in the world did you find out about your interview date? Thanks so much!

Hi Scott,

As Danoco said, you can call the Dept of State and ask for the medical and interview dates. Call

1-202-663-1225, prompts 1, 0, 0 to speak with a visa specialist. Have your case number handy when you call as they will ask for this. They should also be able to tell you when your packet was mailed.

Goodluck!

Andrea (L)

Quiet moments, praise God! Painful moments, trust God! Every moment, thank God!

:dance: Alright Andy and Lira!! Congratulations on the approval...and you are sooo lucky to not be back in MN right now! Got some hefty snowfall, icy and whiteout conditions, and the temp's dropping tonight. :P Hee hee...

PurpleDonkey, RebelHeart and JoseandHelen: GOOD LUCK!! You'll have to let me know if they are in a good mood when you're there...Lye's interview is on Friday.

Gotta love that feeling: excited, unsure but also confident...and just plain bouncing off the cieling! LOL I feel bad I won't be there for it, but it sounds like she met a LOT of other ladies who have their interview on the 17th, so she'll have a bunch of familiar faces around. :D It sounds like they had a lot of fun while waiting and sharing stories.

Again, congrats, good luck!

Had my Medical done Today and Yesterday. I had to wait four hours at the releasing section. Then there was a mix up with my papers. They attached the results of a different person, good thing it was easily rectified. ;)

HOORAY! HOORAY!! HOORAY!!! WHAT A GREAT AND BLESSED MARRIED LIFE AFTER TWO AND A HALF YEARS OF VISA WAITING!

Well, as the saying goes... "GOD seldom does great things in a hurry, so let us wait patiently. Patience means awaiting GOD's time without doubting GOD's love"... Now I believe GOD has rewarded my Loveydovey and me.

On March 20, 2007 (first day of Spring) marks my 159th day of warmth, good cheer and happiness here in North Carolina. After more than 4 months now being married to my one and only loveydovey, sweet, loving and thoughtful Mahal, all I can say is thank GOD, WHAT MORE CAN I ASK FOR? Thank you very much GOD for this special love!***

And now with my EAD and AOS approved, WOW! USCIS, YOU ARE WONDERFUL!

(Please see my timeline)
