I think that once it is issued a visa is valid for 6 months. Once you enter the USA you must get married in 90 days (for a K-1).

Here's one of the photos from the Feb. 15th dinner at Mega Star in Manila! :star:

My board settings allow me to view images but I don't see the photo. Can someone please tell me what I should do with my settings (I'm computer dummy  <blush, blush>

Cora, you can go directly to where the pic is...

If that doesn't work, PM me your email address and I'll forward you the photos that Ate Luz sent to me (that goes for anyone who wants copies). :star:

BTW, Cora, you look so elegant and beautiful in the photos! :star:

Is the embassy closed today because of the Presidents day holiday? If they are does anyone think they will still be proccessing visas today? I really want to see Luz's visa before I go home this sunday. (Feb 25) I don't want to buy her ticket until I have visa in hand but I also don't want to wait until I get home because I think it will be cheaper to buy it here. Kind of a catch 22.

Hi Gary,

Yes, the embassy is closed because it is a US holiday. Where also hoping to hear something from Delbros tomorrow - that it is at least in route. :star:

Ayayay! Thank you, Steven. I knew the other ladies were half my age so I tried my best not to look like their grandma hahaha. 44 years old <ouch!> in case you got curious.

Ok, maybe that explains why I am unable to see some of the photos posted here. The images were uploaded on sites that are restricted by our office Admin. Is that a correct assumption or maybe I'm talking nonsense again hehehe. Oh gee, I'm so dumb hehehe :content:

Thanks for posting the link, Steven. Luz sent me some of the photos too. Thanks also Luz.

Hi vic&el, we hope and pray for your early release from AR prison.

Good luck oakwell, Mike&Jennie and 2hearts!!! We will eagerly await news from you tomorrow.

I'm going home now. Good night!

His sis, please update our info. Visa delivered Feb. 19 noon. By the way, for those who are granted the visa, you may file for refund of Pag-Ibig contributions and just show your visa to support your claim, plus some forms they need yu to fill up.....around one week processing...wow, some additional source of hidden wealth which I learned from my friends at Pag-Ibig.

If you buy tickets from Northwest flying out before March 15, you could get slack season rates. Try them at 841-8800.

Hope to have been of help.

Maria

Our experience recently with Delbros was good. When the Delbros site updated to show that the VISA was released to Delbros from the Embassy, it was delivered the next day in Cagayan De Oro. I don't think the site updates are accurate on Delbros, so if it shows the Visa has been released, you can expect it more quickly than you would assume.

Wow! That is fast! For those who are unsure about the efficiency or reliability of Delbros - I'd recommend that you really look at the actual days the Visas are in transit. What has delayed some people in getting their Visas was not Delbros but because the Embassy had not yet released them.
