Feel I would talk to your employer, it's not the W-2 that concerns you, but the fact they are withholding taxes for the State of New Jersey when you are not a resident of that state. Unless NJ has some strange laws.

Many places have similar laws.

NYC taxes non-residents working in the city.

In spite of what ppl say.....you can live in one state, but if you work in another state, you pay taxes to that state. Your job is with a NJ company...you are working out of their dispachers office....you get to pay NJ.

I moved out of CA to NV to get away from their income tax, but if I earn any money in CA, they will still require that I file a return.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

Guess you guys missed Joe's last post.

I finally got clarification. I will not be taxed. I was filling out the form wrong. It has a line that days "Income from New Jersey Sources". I put my wages there when I was not supposed to..
