I file an I 130 petitions on behalf of my husband who lives in Haiti. My petition was recently approved. I know they have to send a package to my husband in Haiti. Is there a way that I can have USCIS mail me the documents instead of sending it to my husband? I would like to send it to him via Fed Ex instead because the postal service in Haiti is uncertain.

Thank you VJ

If you filed for a CR1/IR1 visa, the approved petition will have to go to the NVC for further processing. You can find out more about this in the National Visa Center forum.

If you filed an I-129F along with the I-130, it means that you filed for a K3 visa. In this case the approved petitions will also go to the NVC to get a case number but it will be sent to the embassy right away. Unfortunately, for these type of visas the embassy sends everything to the beneficiary and not the petitioner.
