Do we have to pay AOS fee for both the parents??

Hey guys!

I am almost done with my dad's process but my mom's process is a month behind. Trying to wrap up her paper work as soon as possible so that she can come with my dad. I paid AOS fee for my dad about 15 days ago, now I am wondering if I have to pay it for mom too or not....also, would I send all the documents along with the I864 again or the documents I sent for dad would suffice?? Would appreciate your advices (L)

I think the speculation is, if both files are very close in timing while being filed in NVC, you only pay for one and it'll cover the other. Example: I filed for my mom/dad together, but of course, they were two separate petition as required by USCIS. So, when AOS bill showed up as payable online, I paid for my dad's and my mom's account showed as "paid by other relative case". However, for IV fee bill, you'll have to pay for both separately. Now, only thing that might be different in your situation is there's a month of time difference between the two petition, so I don't know what applies to you. If it shows payable online, I guess I would pay it or call NVC to find out what you should do.

Ok...I found out that I would not have to pay the AOS bill. Now I have no idea what to do.....will they send me the cover sheet for I864 or still send me the IIN(Invoice Identification Number) so that I can print the cover sheet????????

Hi I am exactly same situation as you are. I also colled NVC found out that I don't need to pay another AOS fee for my dad. I already have paid for my mom and downloaded coversheet.

I have printed AOS coversheet for my dad. However not sure how to get coversheet for my dad because web site does not allow to print even though it says status is paid.

Please share any information.
