but we found out a lot of stuff...

I don't think they made up the story as they went along... I think maybe they are rushing it a bit to fit it all in though...

The writers said that they make the story up as they go along, in an interview 2 years ago or so.

I love the show. The whole atmosphere and the odd characters are quite charming :P I was very disappointed though that they arrived at Earth and it was nothing. Who do you think Kara is? I think she's that Daniel's daughter. Let's see and wait what happens on Friday.

Yeah but resorting to pure exposition is the lazy man's way of doing it. I get that they have 10 episodes to wrap the whole thing up so its understandable, but they keep recycling a lot of the same plot elements.

I think the benchmark of SFTV writing is probably Babylon 5 - where the plot structure of the show was mapped out in advance.

You can catch up anytime on www.scifi.com/rewind. Also Comcast has the episodes always one day later on free on demand :) With a baby in the house we usually don't get around to watch it on time :)
