Hi Folks;

I hate to be redundant, but am I to understand I will not have to take a ton of paper to the embassy since I send originals and copies to NVC?

Getting a little shook thinking about how close I really am

If you are doing the K3 interview the embassy won't have whatyou submitted.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

As the NVC said make sure you have copies of everything. Bring everything you have despites of what you have submitted in NVC. They will also give you a list to bring but the more you bring the easy for you to get things done!

One would think. I can tell you, redundant or not (and it was definitely) I would not hae walked into that consulate without all the documents they SAID I needed PLUS two copies of everything I had ever sent to USCIS. I simply wasn't going to be caught with something left on the kithen table when the kitchen table is a bazillion miles away (and you thought "bazillion" was a make believe word? Get caught without something you need in Kyiv and you will know the exact definition of a "bazillion")

If I had an interview there tomorrow, I would do it all over again.

We have decided to abandon the K-3 and go forward with the CR-1

I think it will be better for her when she arrives because she will not have to

wait to adjust status and get her EAD

SO>....... will I need documents for the CR-1 affter NVC tells me they will forward

originals and copies to the embassy in Kiev?

I was prepared to do all of this with the K-3 but with the K-3 the NVC does not get that involved

as I understand
