Hi, I am now ready to apply for my AOS. I am under K3 Visa. But, there's some confuseness on this I-485 form.

- Which number should I put on A# ? On my NOA2 for I-129f, there's Beneficiary A*** *** ***. Is it the number I should put on I-485?

Some people says that I can also find the A# on the back of my I-94. But, my I-94 nothing had been written on the back of it.

And some also said, it's on the very bottom-right side of my visa. Yes, I found letter A down there, but it follows with different number than on my NOA2. I am confused,..

- Which date should I put on the blank under I-92# {"Expires on(mm/dd/yyyy)"} Is it the expired date that has been written by the officer on my I-94 (front)? or the expired date of my I-129f (written on my NOA2, as I am under K3 Visa)?

- On Part 3, section B, there's also A# for my husband. Is it the A# of my husband as a petitioner that written on the NOA2 of my I-129f?

Plz help, anyone can explain to me,..?

Yes the A# is on the I-129F NOA2 letter.

Expiration date written on the I-94 card.

Part 3 A# for US citizen is o the citizen's A# if they were a NATURALIZED citizen, of citizen by birth, then "N/A" for A#

When is your 2nd wedding anniversary?? Consider filing the I-485 as close to that date but no more than 1 year after your visa medical, if I-485 is approved AFTER your 2nd wedding anniversary, you will get a 10 year green-card.

My second wedding anniversary is one year from this month. I consider to take the chance to get the 2 years conditional greencard.

What if I'll just wait up to close to our 2nd wedding anniv to get 10 years greencard, (as you suggest) and for now, apply for EAD only. is it possible to get work permit and driving licence also?

That is one of the suggestions I do make to K-3 visa holders, file for EAD and Pay the fee for the EAD.

EAD costs less that removal of conditions on the 2 year card, and saves you the hassle of the evidence needed for removal of conditions.

EAD in this case has Question 16 coded as (A )(9 ) Life Act.

Yes, I was thinking about that too.

But the question is, can I still apply to have Driving licence without having any greencard? That's why we were considering to have the 2 years conditional GC and take the risk of the hassle.

Yes you can, most states will accept an EAD as evidence of legal presence, and will issue a DL to a person with EAD before green-card.

The EAD can be used for Work, getting SSN, and applying for a DL.

Yes, your ID, EAD, and SS card are all that is required for license in (most) states. In Texas/Louisiana your I94 (only) with at least 6 months validity is all you have to show to get your drivers license - you don't need an EAD card or SS card. Check your state requirements for "new license" under their DMV website. The problem is, for your and your spouse to file taxes, you need a SS card and to get the SS card you need your EAD card.

Best and quickest way to get what you want (and avoid lifting conditions which is a pain in the a$$) is to file and pay for EAD, get SS card, get license, and wait until 2nd wedding anniversary to file adjustment of status.
