i got approved visa last Feb 11 and still waiting for my visa to be delivered. Me and my fiance planning to buy ticket 2 weeks or one before departure. Any advice in where we could buy plane ticket from MNL-DFW(dallas,texas) a little cheaper?Is it advisable for my fiance in US to buy ticket online or me will look for a travel agency here?

06-15-09..... Sent AOS Package

06-25-09..... Recieved NOA AOS EAD AP

06-29-09..... Recieved Biometrics appointment for July 21

07-10-09..... Case transfered to California

08-05-09..... AOS Card production ordered

08-06-09..... AP approval sent

08-06-09..... EAD Card production ordered

08-11-09..... Got my GREENCARD

08-13-09..... Got my EAD card and AP

check both places and then make your decision... you are not obligated to buy if you do not like what you see....

Just being diligent, i saved USD 200.00 for my mom's flight here to the US.

check both places and then make your decision... you are not obligated to buy if you do not like what you see....

depends just luck and timing when there are sales when my wife flew korean to dfw texas we used a travel agency near the embasy on roxas blvd they give you a discount for k-1 visa too.... the contact information is:

manila intl travel and tours

ste 102 a ermita center bldng

1350 roxas blvd

ermita manila phone 5222809 and 5219370

they gave us good service and they were the largest travel agency around also they are walking distance from the embassy. if you ask for a quote from them don't forget to mention the k-1 fiance discount

So you are from bohol? my wife is too. she was raised in tugas. We live in dfw texas area as well about 30 minutes away from dallas. What part of bohol do you live?

also. check out korean air for dallas they have only one connecting flight where if you use eva cathay or others you will have at least 2 more connecting flights....

dfw airport has only one asian airline carrier korean

the routes are manila to incheon (south korea) to dfw airport if you are leaving from ninoy aquino international airport

if you are leaving from cebu the routes are cebu to incheon (south korea)to dfw airport

see that's very convenient worth checking out. good luck

you have to actually book the ticket at a Philippine travel agency or one in the US that have a link to one in Philippines. It is cheapest to go thru agency a good airline is Korean Airlines. And they have specials for first time immigrant fare. Good luck

noa 1 for aos received 07/28/07

biometrics 08/15/07

ead card ordered 09/20/07!!!!

ead card received 10/01/07! finally!

aos case transferred to California Service Center 10/03/07!

received "Welcome to the United States of America I-797 11/05/07!(dated 10/30/07)!

Permanent Resident card received 11/05/07 (dated 10/31/07)! THank u LorD!

Will file for 10 year GC End of July/Early August 2009!

Removal of Conditions:

Mailed I-751 overnight mail to Vermont Service Center 09/10/09

VSC received the I-751 Packet 09/11/09 About 12 pm Local time

Check was cashed as of Sept 16th 2009

NOA Received 09/19/09 dated 09/14/09

I-797 Appointment Notice received 10/01/09 dated 09/25/09 (Biometrics)

Got they 10 year GC approval letter in the mail dated 01/08/10! yehey!

10 GREENCARD RECEIVED 01/20/10

Citizenship.......maybe............or maybe stay a permanent resident .......................

I sent Claudeth money to buy her ticket in CDO. She got it for about $150 cheaper than anything I could find online or using an agent.
