Hello. My name is Graham and I am from Portsmouth, United Kingdom. My fiancee, Liz is from Bogota, Colombia. We have been together for 6 months now. We got enaged on 16th December in Bogota.

Anyway, I would like to invite her to my country, but I am unsure which visa route will suit her easily.

FIANCE VISA or STUDENT VISA

My fiancee would like to study English in my country and will stay in my country for about 3-6 months before returning to Colombia. She has 3 children and is divorcee, so she has her reason to go back to Colombia.

What about Fiance Visa? Will she be able to come to my country? I will support her when she will be in my country.

We would like to get married when she is in my country, but I do not know much about rules of British Embassy.

Any help and/or advice will appreciate ......

I'm confused

So you're English and want to bring your fiance to England? I think you may need a different forum if thats the case as this one is all about us foreigners trying to get approved to move to the USA!

Sorry if I misunderstood you??

Oh, I know nothing about bringing people into the UK if that is what you mean!

It seems I am in the wrong forum, so does it mean i have to close my account now?

This website is specifically for US citizens wishing to bring family members to the US, however if we can help you we will.

You should begin by looking at the Home Office UK Border Agency Website http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/

I want to know of anyone's experience rather than looking in the website.

You asked for advice about a specific visa route, that website should give you all the info you need.

So you're a Southampton lass, eh? Good for you. Although I'm struggling to comprehend what's happening to our once proud club - #### off Lowe you ######.

Ironically, the once mighty Saints are away at Birmingham City next Saturday, and as you can see by my location status, Brum is where I live now. It's gonna be kind of bitter-sweet, but supporting a football team is like a marriage from which there is no possibility of divorce, so I gotta go for it!
