Hello, i have a quick question for you guys, i heard that is it possible that if ever ill get my green card let say a 10 years GC i can file for a petition for my parents? thank you in advance...

EAD APPLICATION:

2009-01-10 ----- E-filed EAD Application

2009-01-20 ------NOA1 Receipt Notice

2009-01-22 ------Biometrics appointment recieved by mail

2009-02-11-------Biometrics Date (done smoothly)

2009-4-15 -------- EAD Approved

2009-4-24 -------- EAD Received by mail ( yyyeeeeessssss)

You can not file for your parents until you are a US Citizen.

That's correct. If you pull down the instructions for form I-130, which you can find in the USCIS web site, you will see who can petition for parents and siblings.

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Oh thank you, i knew it but im just really confused becuase i talked to somebody yesterday during my biometrics and he said i can file for the parents after i get my greend card...anyway thanks for the answers!!!
