Hi VJ family,

My spousal visa just got approved...thanks God!!!and i wanna share the secrets of smooth sailing journey. My husband and i started the application of I-130 last oct. 20, 2008 in US embassy tokyo and was approved immediately, i mean on the same day. Though, i received the packet 2 weeks after. I had completed my police clearances and medical check afterwards but we delayed the final interview because my hubby's contract will end on May 2009 and the visa is only good for 6 months. IN tokyo you had option to select the date of your final interview and of course the availability also.

This morning feb. 9, 2008 at 8:30 was my appointment and was very nervous. We arrived at 7:40, but the embassy was open at 8:30, the staff collected all the documents, i payed the payments and fingerprinting and at last final interview. The final interview lasted for 5 minutes only. But before the final interview started i saw my documents stamped with APPROVED ALREADY, so during the interview i was very confident. here are some easy questions:

1. Summarize your relationship in brief?

2. When did you get married?

3. When will you go to the USA?

I was out at 9:25...that means i completed the processing for only 55 minutes...

I would like to advice everybody who are still processing to HANG ON and preparations is very important. Prepare yourself, complete all the dcuments especially the Affidavit of support.

Getting nervous is normal but remember to stay FOCUS!!! I wish you luck guys with your journey...thank you to all your help...

Jan
