The 1999 edition of the Guinness Book of Records brought international attention to Palm Island when it named the island the most violent place on earth outside a combat zone. To support this claim it stated statistics such as a murder rate 15 times higher than that of the entire state of Queensland, a life expectancy of 40 years, the highest rate of youth suicide per capita in the world, and a total of 40 suicide fatalities over a period of only five years.[34]

Awww the sweet smell of Aficionado's failing :luv:

HAL 9000 doesn't hate you. But he may remove all the oxygen from your room via the PC. Be careful Tavo. HAL 9000 can make things happen.

Again...I repeat, how is the above going to help you previous comment? and i quote

"Hmm, I cannot think of one place in Australia you can go to and consequently lose your life"

So what are you assuming them? Did I say Australia is a country free of murders? Obviously not but I can say for a fact that in most major cities there we do not have any no go zones.

Have you ever been to Aus?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

God man! I pity everybody who is around you in the real world,

It seems you cannot accept that sometimes you are wrong,

Even when the whole VJ gang has already realized it

That's irrelevant since it doesn't relate to the point that you made.

So you weren't aware that Palm Island is an area of your home country that people probably shouldn't visit.

Just admit it man - this round the houses BS that you're doing is just embarrassing.

The thread was about American tourists visiting Mexico and being killed. Therefore any comments or posts are in relation to this topic, no? But once again you guys like to make something out of nothing and twist my words to suit your prejudiced views against me. So continue on telling me what I did or did not mean.

Might I ask why you brought up the tangent introducing Australia into the thread. If it has nothing to do with the thread - why was it put out there?

????

This thread was on topic up until the point where you decided to pull the "my country is better than yours" and "which two ethnicities are responsible for most crimes" card.

Actually you and Len basically inferred that this is pretty much the same story everywhere, which I responded to.

Gang? The usual group who gang up on anyone who disagrees with them.

Actually thanks for pointing that out. Proves a point stated many times before that has been denied.

Once again, how many times have you been to Australia?

I believe all we said was that it pays to mind one's surroundings.

I'll go ahead and agree with you on that one, Aficionado. The US and Mexico have especially high levels of violent crime, much of which can be traced back almost directly to the rivalries between drug cartels and narcotics dealers and the organized crime that exists to service the narco supply chain.

Australians are consumers of the finished product but by the time the product reaches their shores, the blood has already been spilled in the Americas. You guys get it sanitized and clean (and expensive).

So we evolve from "nowhere in Australia" to "in most major cities". I call that progress.

Did not evolve at all. The same group of posters plays these gotcha games with everyone they dislike and disagree with.

Why am I trolling? Because you don't agree with me.

Which country has the higher homicide rates? Australia or Mexico.

Which country was this article based on? Australia or Mexico
