Looking for interview experiences - what to expect?

I looked back about six pages of topics and did not see anything that is specifically about interview experiences. Is there a place I can go to get an idea of what to expect, and things to be aware of?

Thanks much!!

Take a look at the tag "Embassy Info" on the first page of the website. I have looked there to get information about previous interviews at the US Consulate.

Good luck.

I've only seen people that divorced having an I-751 interview. From what I've seen most people with a "normal marriage" don't get interviewed.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Hi,

I had an i-751 interview on Dec 2008, everything went smoothly and I was approved a week after the interview and received my GC in the mail a few days later.

Here's the post of my experience, somewhere in there I explained with more detail the entire interview. Hope this helps.

From other experiences, these interviews are straight forward.

If your still married, you could be asked anything about the ongoing relationship. Interviews here are rare.

If your divorced, be prepared to answer questions about the divorce. Interviews here are frequent.

In both the cases, make sure you have copies of evidences supporting what you say.

Hmm - so that's interesting. Some go for interviews and some don't. Is there any rhyme or reason to it?

Yes - we are still quite happily married.
