I'm curious. How long is it taking for AOS approvals for those adjusting from a K1 (and transferred to CSC)?

I noticed the email to the congressman on the previous poster's timeline. My wife is also adjusting from a K-1 but upon receipt of my RFE, I haven't received any notice since Nov 08 regarding my AOS. Would notifying my congressman be an option to expedite the process? I noticed a lot of people having their cases transferred to offices but mine is in stasis at national benefits center and I'm getting worried that I can't do anything about it.

10/27/08 - AOS Package sent USPS Express to Chicago

10/28/08 - Packet received (signed V.Bustamante)

11/07/08 - Checks Cashed

11/10/08 - NOA1 received

11/14/08 - Biometrics appointment received (for 11/28, ugh)

11/20/08 - RFE for 2007 tax return information (even though I sent my entire 2007 filing)

11/22/08 - RFE sent

11/22/08 - EAD request sent (yes, sent separately)

11/26/08 - online "touch", probably from the RFE receipt

11/28/08 - Biometrics completed

12/19/08 - Biometrics#2 completed (for EAD - separate filing)

12/22/08 - EAD "touch"

02/03/09 - EAD approved

02/16/09 - EAD received

02/26/09 - AOS transferred to CSC. no CRIS email, no status update, but USCIS letter received 03/03/09

03/08/09 - AOS "touch"

04/08/09 - RFE for W-2 / 1099 information

04/24/09 - RFE received in CSC.

05/02/09 - Green Card received

So it appears that their statement in the notices "We process cases in the order we receive them" is false. There are those who were transferred in September that haven't heard anything yet I see many transferred in December already approved. In my opinion that statement should be removed from the notices as it's a flat out lie.

I'm not sure if emailing the congressman has helped any. I haven't received anything back from them letting me know what they've done or what they've found out. (Unless Yahoo sent their email straight to spam so I never saw it.) My email was more about the fact that there's nothing to show how long the AOS process should be taking. At least during the K1 process you could see the estimated dates they were working on. For all we know our AOS paperwork has been destroyed by an accident and we'd be in limbo forever.
