Ok so if my husband in the past worked at this welding place but they paid him in cash and they didn't ask for his papers or anything should I even bother listing that? Also, one job he worked with a fake name and everything, I'm not going to bother putting that. I think he worked at a car wash place too but he was 16 I believe include that? One more, In mexico he worked at a plant for a month and now he's at another job as a contract welder started on the 26th of January do i include those? :wacko:

The US embassy probably won't check any of that info but you do need to enter UNEMPLOYED during any gaps that he may have in his list of jobs.

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Your safest bet is to put it all in there because if they do find out you omitted something (either through an RFE or during the interview) you're likely to raise scrutiny.

They don't really care about what the actual jobs were, so long as they weren't illegal.

2008 Dec 01: Sent I-130

2008 Dec 04: Application returned (needed to supply proof of residence in UK)

2008 Dec 08: Sent amended I-130 with evidence

2008 Dec 10: Application filing date

2008 Dec 23: Received letter requesting interview about petition

2009 Jan 22: Appointment at US Embassy (verification of marriage bona fides)

2009 Jan 23: Approval of I-130

2009 Feb 13: Received Packet 3

2009 Feb 16: Returned Packet 3

2009 Feb 24: Medical exam at Knightsbridge Doctors

2009 Mar 05: Received Packet 4

2009 Mar 30: Visa interview - approved

2009 Mar 31: Visa received via SMS courier

I'm sorry but i don't undertsand what do you mean "if they were legal", maybe I'm making it more complicating than it really is but i just need it in plain wording please :blush: I'm a little overwhelmed and just want to make sure that I fill these forms out right without any RFE or withold any information if i should put it or not. :blink:
