How long will my husband have to wait to become a citizen once he is here?? ( I am already a USC)

Naturalization (N-400)

Sent N-400: 2/13/12

Check Cashed: 2/17/12

NOA1 Rec'd: 2/21/12

Rec'd Biometrics Appt: 2/24/12

Biometrics Appt: 3/13/12

Placed on Line for interview: 3/26/12

Interview Scheduled: 4/30/12

Interview Date:6/4/12

Three years

02/9/09: Sent I-130 package through USPS next day delivery

02/10/09: Package received at the Chicago lockbox

02/17/09:NOA1

02/19/09: Money order cashed

03/04/09: Touched

03/27/09: Touched

03/30/09: Touched

05/05/09: NOA 2

Timeline

First he gets a conditional greencard if you were married less than 2 years. Then you apply to remove conditions. Then after he's a resident for 3 years total, if he's still married to you, he can apply for citizenship. If he's not married to a USC then it's 5 years after he's a resident.

SO THE 3 YEARS INCLUDES THE 2 YEARS HES GOING TO ALREADY HAVE WITH HIS CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD?? SO AFTER WE FILE I-751 IT'S ONLY A YEAR BEFORE HE CAN FILE FOR CITIZENSHIP??

Three years from the time his conditional residence status is granted. Five years if he's no longer married to you.
