Has anyone else had trouble with Form DS-230? I downloaded the latest version directly from the USCIS site (expires 2/29/2012) but it won't print correctly. The format is messed up and I can't even print a good blank form to fill out by hand.

The version that can be downloaded from the Bogotá embassy website (Expires 5-31-2011) works fine but can't be filled out on the computer, which isn't a big deal, but the newest version (from the USCIS site) states "Previous Editions Obsolete"

Is it OK to use the one from the Bogotá embassy website Packet 3?

Feb. 19, 2016 - NOA1

Thanks.. I tried a different printer and it came out fine. I think it was a computer/printer issue with this version.

I have our Appointment, but we're concerned about pkt 4.. Since we never received pkt 3, I doubt we'll receive pkt 4 either.. Do they send this to the Petitioner as well...

I spoke to DOS, they gave us our appointment date, and advised we must have a copy of our Appointment Letter, but to date, my fiancee has never recieved any documents from the US Embassy...

What if we never receive packet 4, how do we get in to the Medical, the Embassy, and Pay the Visa Fee?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help...

Kenny

We're finally in the US!

The POE was a little slow. It seemed like over 20 ppl skipped us at the JFK office. It took about 2 hours from the waiting and stuff. No questions asked, and the EAD was stamped without asking.

The interview was on a Monday and we received the visa on a Saturday at the Domesa office.

Check some of the previous posts on this topic. I remember reading that with your case # you can schedule the medical and labs and have to have it available when you go to the Embassy so that they can verify that you do indeed have an appointment.

But please check some earlier posts.

Hi Kenny,

don't worry if your fiancee never gets the appointment letter, she can check the list of appointments and print the page with your BGT number, this is enough to show the doctor, to pay the visa fee and bring the day of the interview.

packet 4
