Hello! I see where some of you state do not contact DOS until 90 days of AP have passed. Why is this? Also is that 90 business days? I have been calling them for the last 3 months. Is this a bad thing? Also, why does the embassy never email me back?

what address you are sending your emails.

I emailed once on PakIVQuery@state.gov and got my reply few hours later.

I emailed them and nothing. I asked about this stupid AP. I am getting mad about it becauome ppl have their visas in a matter of days and we been waiting too long. It is not fair. They are bias at that embassy!

BE Patient! you have no idea wat 'LONG' means dear you were intereviewed in April 09... i'A you will get your visa v soon=) don' t worry and don't think about it

good news is nowdays ISL seems to be processing AP at a much faster phase than before.

What is 3.5 packet? I thought after case complete at NVC, they just send everything to ISB and interview date is set and youre done? What exactly is in packet 3.5? Also, where did you hear AP is going faster than before? All I see on here is people on AP for like 8-12 months or longer?? Are there any members here with male applicants that had shorter AP??? Thanks...

I think they dont reply AP queries unless a certain time has passed.I know someone who emailed embassy and they told him to wait 10 months before contacting them again.So i think just call up DOS but thats no help too.

I guess after all the backlogs are cleared and FBI is not inundated with so many clearances, AP seems to decrease in the expected time, but then again ISL can be unpredictable

ur case is CR1 so every thing is done here with NVC dont worry abt packet 3.5.I believe thats for k1.Honestly i dunno if AP is faster now,I just hope it is.Yup some member did have short AP,I dont remember their Id's ,one didnt even get AP,the other one just 10-12 days thats the only two that came to my attention.Another member's wife had interview on 30th Jun no AP.so it jut depends I guess.

From my understanding, not that many females are put under AP, but it's a default for males to be put into AP. I'm not sure who, but I remember a few males who got out of AP in about 3.5 months...and someone else who was in 4 months, and hopefully the others who had interviews in April or May will update their time line.

I totally agree Nana....r007219 ( or something close) his wife had her interview and she passed clear without AP
