I think she was asking how long it takes to get your passport back.

If male at times they don't keep the passport. If they do keep the passport (as w/many females), and no further processing is needed; currently ISL has been taking about 3 weeks to return passport w/visa stamped!

also i highly recommend that you do not plan anything in advance until the visa is in hand.

I do agree with sister pakigal that all men dont get AP.

In the begining i thought in the same way that all men get AP.Then i met a man(Visa Applicant) in hospital during my medical for USEM interview. We exchanged our cell numbers.

After his interview he called me straight way and told me that he is approve and they kept his passport for visa.Later he got his visa in 2 weeks.

So not all the male get AP.

Hello everyone, i am back on VJ. i hope you will tolerate me, i guess. Is revived pakigal??? hey sibtan still waiting ... me too lol. i know/believe with all my heart, one day there would last day for this universe, judgement day or call it whatever but i am really confused about my AP lol i can't say anything about it. may GOD bless you all specially Mary.

kidding. Anyone here from Lahore? tell me where can I buy a nice sherwani in Pakistan? would the answer be Lahore or Rawalpindi? Please let me know the store location etc as well so I can make it easier on myself. Thanks. Love and Respects.

All right buddy,

I am from Islamabad and yes you can find some really cool stuff in Rawalpindi but I will tell you that I some how came cross reading online about a designer in Lahore. I contacted him for my baby brother's wedding Sharwani. He charged me just about as much as regular sharwani would cost. ( a sharwani costs anywhere from 20,000 to 30,000 on average) but he designed a sharwani just how I wanted it to be for my brother. He takes about 2 weeks to design one, but he also has some already made stuff too. I was very impress with his work.

His website is www.786shop.com. Simply go their and take a look. I will provide you with his cell phone number on Monday.

I wouldn't advice ordering online. I think he also has a shop in Lahore Pakistan. You can always visit him there too.

Sibtain,

Thanks for those letters you sent Samir. They are going to be helpful!

Dream Love don't you know whats going on in ISL/RWP whole Pakistan. everthng is closed because of the long march. police has blocked all roads, everywhere. WATCH GEO TV, on the web.

Yea because they told him to pick up a letter but it was closed. But anyway on the regular what are their hours of operation? I know what is going on there I was already informed! So, when will it open back up do you assume?

Well things were uncertain till this morning, when the PM came on TV and announced that he will restore CJ.

so i guess AMEX is closed today because ISL was sealed with huge container and Para-military force. so hopefully they will be open on tuesday from 9am-5pm.

what should he wear??? :D

he should wear whatever he like, there is no hard rule like be suited-booted... ask him to what he normally wear. everyone think his own way let me try to explain, some people notice everything and act like smart***, i don't care what someone wears because its there personal matter. but as far as COs are concern may be they go thru FAM, who know :P

If someone is offended...forget it
