HEllo everyone,

my aunt petitioned for my mom and we are going to have our interview in february 5th in us embassy located in islamabad(pakistan).

our case is f4(brothers and sisters of us citizens).

the issue is that our uncle(my moms sisters husband) has a motel with which he is not having a good time.

his annual income is 52000 dollars.and he said he will get us jobs in his motel.is that much money enough to sponsor four people??

what is poverty line i dont understand it.

in plus we have two more unlces living there who also assured us jobs.but we dont have evidance in the form of papers.

what should we do???

please suggest us what should we do

if he meets the guidelines depends on how many people he already has in his home that are his dependents. If you 4 are in addition to his family of say..3, then he has to show enough income for 7 people.

Why couldnt the other uncle write letters of intent to employ? i dont know if it would help or not at the interview to convince them you wont become public charges, but it couldnt hurt could it?
