Visa for fianceé in Nicaragua

Hi,

I am brand new to this website and just wanted to add my two cents. First off, I would like to say how great this website. Much like a support group it helps me feel not so alone in this nerve-wracking process.

I sent in my i-129f application on March 7th and got my NOA1 on March 10th. How can I add information this to the site so that others can check on the stats page? As it currently stands it seems like there have been 3 apps for Nicaraguan fiance(e)s in the last 365 days, with none pending and all 3 having been approved.

As with almost everyone on this site the process came to a complete stop after the IMBRA went into affect. Fortunately for me, it seems that I will "only" have to wait for them to ask me for some sort of background (criminal) check. Hopefully the wait will not be THAT long, although, from the sound of it, the wait could be quite lengthy.

By the way, anyone have any experiences with petitioning for someone from Nicargua? How fast is the embassy in processing?

Hi and Welcome to Visa Journey. To start a timeline, Click near the top of this page on "Immigration timelines." Then Click on "Edit/add my timeline." You will then enter your email address, then you can start your timeline. To add it to your signature so it shows everytime you post. Go to "My controls" then "edit signature". You will have to manually type in the information.
