I know this question probably came up a thousand times already, but here we go.

My wife is from Ecuador.(PerRes) I'm a US citizen. We are going to Ecuador in April/May. I thought that while we are down there to take a trip to the embassy(Quito) or consulate (Guayaquil) to see about a visitor visa for her sister. Is it better for us to be there with supporting documents or to just let her sister go with the parents by themselves? Her little sister is 14 and will be 15 when she comes here. We want to take her to Disney. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

I don't think you will be allowed in the embassy even if you're accompanying her sister but you can call them to check first. She would have to file for a tourist visa with enough evidence to show ties to Ecuador proving that she will be going back after her trip. She can also show a letter of invitation from you to see if it helps her getting it. But that's pretty much all you can do.
