My wife and son are getting on the first of 3 jets that will bring them here to be with my other son and I. So we will finally be together to live as a family. her family is very happy for us. but I got a glimpse of the pain they are going through last night as I spoke to my wife. I could only imagine the ride to the airport. not a good day for her to wear make-up. I have really great inlaws, and I know what sweet/sorrow today is for them. there is no doubt that, my gain is their loss.

I hope everyone who is waiting to be with their SO is reunited a.s.a.p.........hang in there always,.....its soooooooo worth it.

Best wishes on being reunited and to successful life together here in the states! Be patient to one another - it's going to be a big adjustment for all. The sooner she can meet other Filipinos in your area, the easier it will be for her. Hope you have already located Filipino/Asian markets near your home. Also, we found Yahoo Msgr a godsend for my wife to be able to talk to her family and friends back home with voice and video chat. :) Good luck! :star:

I am so happy to hear that you will be reunited with your wife, and my heart goes out to her because I know that she will miss everyone back home. I pray that she will adjust well and I am very excited for you , I remember the excitment I felt when my hubby arrived here to the states....many blessings to you and your family :)

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)
