Re interview after getting blue slip Ho Chi Minh

Well yesterday my fiance went back to the embassy to submit additional paperwork for her visa. I must say im really disapointed. They did not give he another blue slip or even a pink slip. Instead she told me they gave here a sheet of paper that said no additional paperwork is required and that her case is processing, and that she would receive a letter with in 5 businesses days with the results. Is there any of my Vietnamese friends out there that have had this problem???? I have not read of this happening before...

Well looks like I could be in for another long wait, the Embassy is close Monday - Thursday next week so it might be the following week until I hear anything about the paperwork. I am not super happy right now..... :( .....She was originally going to be here next week now its looking like 3 more weeks at best.. The stress is starting to wear on me 8 months already........ :wacko:

Brian, you had forgotten that you are in the waiting game? Be patient my friend! Good thing will come to good people. Plus you are in the Tet Season, let your fiancee enjoy her last Tet with her friends and family. Now, it is a good time for you to prepare your place before your lovely fiancee arrived. Good Luck!

My K1 Time Line

AOS Quest: Completed :=)

06-08-2007: AOS Package Sent

06-12-2007: AOS Package Recieved

06-19-2007: Check Cashed

06-22-2007: NOA1 in the Mail

06-26-2007: Biometrics Appoinment Received 7-14-2007

07-14-2007: Biometrics Appointment

10-29-2007: AOS interview - still need to wait for FBI name check.

02-27-2008: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

02-28-2008: Card production ordered

03-04-2008: Approval notice sent

03-07-2008: Green Card received

05-07-2008: California ID received (took almost a year to get it)

06-05-2008: My lovely baby girl arrived.
