K-3 Interview Scheduled

Hey All,

I am in total shock at what has happened in the last 2wks. VSC sent our petition to NVC Aug 4th'ish and when I called NVC on the 9th to inquire if they recieved it yet I recieved our case # and was told it was already on its way to manila.WHAT THE HELL!!! Today my wife txt me to say she has recieved the case letter from USEM. I was not even expecting this kind of speed. Two wks from VSC to reciept of Embassy letter!!!! Anyway, I called the Appt line and the wife has appt Feb 25 @ 0700. I was planning optimisticaly for maybe a late March date even happily an early April time. So, now I will be scrambling to get the up-to-date docs to the wife before appt. She already has most as I took it all with me in July when I went back for our first anniversary. Any suggestions about getting the docs there? DHL vs. UPS....Thanks

well you must be going the k-3 route not like what is in the bio part of your name where it says cr-1 yes k-3 are sent right through nvc no delays you will have to file AOS when spouse get here. nvc is holding your I-130 and sent on your I-129f papers good luck

wowowowo! thats so fast. Congratulations!!! Good lcuk on your interview.I got an approval last Jan.7th and NVC sent our packet on the 14th. Im in Japan so I will let my wife call the USEM to get an appointment or let my lawyer call it?

Congratulations!! A K visa normally only takes 3 to 4 days to pass through the NVC. The delays have been from VCS and CSC sending the approvals to NVC. Maybe your approval was the last one needed to fill the delivery truck.

I would suggest using USPS Global Priority, the one that uses FedEX.

Yes, the k3 process is really quick now. We started processing last Sept 2008 and I already have an interview schedule on the 3rd. We're not even done with NVC yet. That's how fast it is. But, I think I won't have all the requirements by April 3, so we might as well move it to a later date. Congrats!
