My wife is much more appreciative of what she has and what I give her than any of my American girlfriends. She just does things that make me feel like she is truly into me. She is so family oriented and it just isn't for her family. She has great love and respect for my sister and is always saying we should have her live with us so she could take good care of her. Of course there is no way my sister would ever leave Colorado but I appreciate her desire to ensure my sister is confortable, safe and happy.

is this going to be a bash the american woman thread?

Thats what I am wondering

No offense meant to all american ladies here

no offense taken by u but these kind of threads usually are taken to start bashing american woman by the american men. they usually blame american woman for everything. they dont tell that the reason they are the way they are is because american men have differnt standards when it comes to an american woman. what a filipeno woman gets away with...an american woman cant and then the bashing starts.

such as if an american woman wants to help her family financially the man tells her to tell her family to get off their lazy butts and get a job...if a filipeno wants to send money to their family they are saints for it and praised. the american man wont tell u that part of the story. if the american woman wants to stay home and raise her kids she is know as a free loader, but if a filipeno woman dont work and stays at home with the kids...oh how sweet she is to want to stay at home with her kids and husband.

just telling u...we american woman are not as bad as these men say but it is them who has the double standards. im not here to bash the men here but just to set the record straight.

Now, who is bashing who? I think some American women have few misconceptions, as well, about American men, as well as Filipino women. Few American men go looking for "mail order brides". There is a stigma attatched, that never leaves, and has to be dealt with too often. Luckily, most people don't care, and the rest are just "curious".

i wasnt bashing anyone...look around vj and u will see what im talking about. are u a little sensitive about what secrets i might tell? like the ones where american men dont like paying child support because its better to let ur child suffer then to give ur ex your hard earned money. is this not the truth?

I have not met ONE American woman who i felt was worth marrying, and i have met lot's. Untrustworthy, spoiled, uncaring, irreverent, selfish, etc.

The feminist movement ruined the American woman IMO. They don't glory in their womanhood, in what it means to be a REAL woman like the average Filipina does.

They are too busy trying to rule over their husbands.

BUT, the men here are not the same either. For instance, the kind of young men who built hoover dam, fought WWII, led by example, are all but gone.

They have been replaced by scared, lazy, video game playing punks. Even the men who actually work are so full of fear its pathetic. Take away their cell phone, their tivo, or watch them get a flat tire on a highway and they turn into women.

This country is seriously screwed. Atheism/homosexuality/abortion/drugs/porn/greed and feminism have completely wrecked us.

The Filipina is a throwback to what an American woman used to be, and i praise God that i found one that is truely my soulmate.

asain women ,filipinas, are the most attractive for starters but the main reason is most american women are very spoiled and very difficult to ever please,,they seem to never be satisfied and expect you to do everything but at the same time want to say there powerfull american women , most filipinas i know are very honest, hard working, gratefull and trustworthy women who are also very beautifull. to find an american women like that is almost impossible

Wow! You must have some serious issues to take things so seriously! I reccommend you seek some professional help before you hurt yourself, or somebody else.

Seriously.

The bottom line is...... I couldn't find a woman here that was as caring, loving and genuine as my wife. I am not saying that all american women are bad! I am saying that the ones I dated were the opposite of the Filipina that I chose to be my wife....

Taken from real life situation, when I happen to ask my husband why he fell for a Filipina, he straightly said that filipinas has this quality that can "rarely" be found with American woman. I'm not sweeping away all the good qualities of american woman, however, as odd as it may seem filipina are more family oriented and more flexible on decisioning what will be the best in both ways. That's probably the reason why filipinas are being called in names like ( housemaid) to some people who can't seem to comprehend what's the difference of being a career woman and a family woman.

I believe every American man wants to have a wife that can take care of him, the kids, and the house in another way around knows her priorities. A wife whom can he wakes up each morning to kiss and prepares his breakfast rather a wife who just lefts a note " I'm on my business trip to Europe, be back in a week"

Most of filipinas who doesn't come for GC just wants a happy family, when we this, life is pretty much a success.

Actually if your family was in the conditions that are in the Philippines I would think you would want to send money to them. I would support your decision. So that argument is completely weightless. Go to the Philippines and see the conditions then you will know. They are the hardest working people I have ever seen in my life. They believe in capitalism and will try to make money to live. Despite hard work many live in absolute poverty.

You are taking this chance to find criticism while at the same time claiming to be a victim of American attitudes in men. Just curious, would you say you are the typical American woman?

I am american citizen man. I was married 20 years to an american woman-first marriage.I dated many american women after i divorced until i met my asawa and we have been married 6 mos. My life now as compared to what it was with what i see and know about american women is great. This is not somethin that i planned to do nor did i ever imagined i would do to travel halfway around the world to get my wife. I praised and thank God everyday for the life i have now. I would recommend to any and all men that if they want true fulfillment and life with their marriage,GO TO THE PHILIPPINES..

hello guys, this questions are for all the american men who married to a filipina

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE A FILIPINA WHEN YOU HAVE ALL THE CHANCE TO MARRY AN AMERICAN LADY AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY OF ALL THOSE BIG EXPENSES AND NOT TO WAIT FOR SO LONG TO BE TOGETHER AND THEN EXPERIENCE THE ADJUSTING PERIOD BECAUSE YOU HAVE DIFFERENT CULTURE AND BELIEFS? I ASK THE SAME QUESTIONS TO MY HUSBAND AND THIS WHAT HE SAID " I'VE LEARNED MY LESSONS AFTER THE 2 DIVORCES I HAD" :( THATS SO SAD BUT IS IT TRUE?.

CAN YOU PLEASE DESCRIBE US FILIPINAS TROUGH YOUR POINT OF VIEW

well i would be glad to answer this question. First i will state the common known fact that most Filipina make the best wives! In the states this is common knowledge. Next, on a more personal note, I have also had 2 divorces from American wives. I am not saying that it was their fault but it was a difference between western and filipina value systems. Most western women that i have experienced have a value system based on being "spoiled" growing up, not to say that they are spoiled but the life they experienced is far different than the average filipina. This makes a filipina much more grateful for the hard work and things here Bana can provide as well as having a strong devotion to family and her husband. Most American men find these to be the most important qualities in a wife. Filipina are most times loyal to their husbands with little desire to have other "men experiences" clouding their minds, thinking about what else might be out there or what they might be missing. The thing I personally looked for in my wife was a good heart, strong compassion for others, and a solid belief in the marriage vows we took. I have learned that these are values most Filipina have in common with each other and I believe this makes them very desirable for a spouse. I hope this answers your question.

I am still wondering though, why filipinas? I am from Phil's neighbour country and I would say that some Southeast Asian countries' ladies are not that much different with Filipina's in terms of holding family orientation value. Let's say.. Thai, Indonesian, or Malaysian. I have had this question a long ago too, it's not answered yet :P

There are some fine women all over the world, and I am sure, the Pinas does not have the exclusive franchise on tasty women, but I know at least they can be found there,

OK!!! On the other side of the record is the real truth about American women!!! The first thing an American woman looks for in a man is his WALLET. And as far as staying home, the Filipino woman misses her husband and truely loves him and shows him appreciation for what he does and does for her unlike American women meeting her husband at the door complaining about what she has to do all day and demanding him to take her shopping to buy her some new shoes. APPRECIATION MEANS ALOT MORE THAN EXPECTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
