Hello All!

Our I-130 petition has been approved 4 months ago and the approval letter stated that it would take NVC 90 days to receive the papers. However 4 months later once NVC still has not recieved the papers I contacted my state senator and I have been told that the USCIS never forwarded the documents to NVC instead they have held it up for further background checks.

Has anyone else experienced the same situation?

If so what is the hold up yet???
