I looked through the guides and a little on the forum, but could not find an obvious answer..

My hubby's GC expires in a few weeks, and I'm going to file to remove conditions in a couple days. We waited this long because we were out of the country, and didn't want to be called to an interview while we were gone. But, it looks like we might have to leave again in at the end of March. How does this work? Do we have to file again for something like advance parole, or are we fine once we have the receipt?

Thanks :)

After you submit all the paperwork, you will get (within a week or so) a letter stating:

"Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one-year extension you are authorized employment and travel."

All you need to travel is your expired GC and the letter.
