Hi all -

I'm getting together the evidence of our relationship from my end and I'm wondering: I have a lot of cards Mark has sent me for Christmas, birthdays, Valentine's, etc...but they were all parts of bigger packages, so none of them have postmarks on them. Will they still count? I also have pictures of us together, some boarding pass stubs, flight itineraries, and 7 years' worth of emails that I'm going to pull from.

Also, I have lots of cards and emails his mom has sent me...should I include some of those, too? Or will they just skip right over those? I'm trying to make sure I include enough without sending too much.

Thanks, guys!

Nothing wrong in sending a few emails, letters and cards but don't go overboard. Your main task is to prove that you have both met in person within the last 2 years eg- Flight itineraries, boarding passes, hotel bills and don't forget 4-6 photos of both of you together.

thanks much.

Emailed itineraries from tickets bought online will count, right?

I'm looking back now, wishing I'd have been more diligent about keeping stuff...but it never really occurred to either of us that we might someday need it...d'oh!

My wife had a couple emails and chats per monthe in hand. My daughter carried a brief case with a few pounds of additional evidence in case there were problems. They didn't look at any emails or chats! They only checked out pictures, phone records and snail mails!

I would not stress to much at this stage for the purpose of the 129F all you have to do is prove having met in the last 2 years, we just send in about 6 pics, e-tickets, and copies of passports with the stamps

Proof of ongoing relationship is for the interview, and for the UK it does not seem that they even ask half the time for photos, cards call records etc, however I would still take everything with me when I get my interview just incase

Good luck with your Journey
