Since my I-130 NOA2 was approved! (WOO HOO!!!) I've been calling the NVC (computer generated info) to find out what my NVC number is!

Still they "have no record of your number" I'm typing in my EAC number from my I-130 NOA1. Anyways....how long did it take everyone else? Should I keep calling and rely on the computer generated info?

I love this site....it's a life saver :)

After your I-130 is approved by USCIS. (It should say this on your approval notice for I-130) It can take up to 90 days to transfer to the NVC. If, after 90 days the NVC still has not received it, you may have to file the form I-824 (Action on an Approved Application). ;)

I just work Tier I (civilian) customer service for USCIS and have been in many types of scenarios over the years. I am filled with Immigration knowledge.

I believe I can help make everyones process simpler by helping out, even if its something small like a forum

So, thats me. If you need help I may be able to assist feel free to PM me if I haven't seen your post yet.

In any case, I may be around from time to time. I understand the frustration that you guys go through over something that should be so much simpler.

I was worried that mine hadn't transferred because the automated system said they have no record of my file. Even with a case number and letters to and from the NVC, I never showed up in the system and still don't. I am currently waiting for my interview date and have been for almost a month and a half. I tell you this to let you know it may have been transferred, I have to talk to the operators and you might have to as well.
