is anyone else having trouble with downloading forms?

I'm trying to get a clean copy of a form from the USCIS website and it keeps stalling out on me / crasing my browser. Anyone else having these issues? Also, when I try to look at the I-129F example linked in the K-1 visa guide on this site, it doesn't load. Is it something to do with my computer? I'm on a T-1 connection, so I don't think it's a bandwidth issue...

Yes... oh goodness, I thought it was me. I have tried to save and/or download a few forms (G-325A, I-864, I-485, I-765, I-131) in prep for our next stage. But.. I keep getting an error message saying the file is corrupted or something to that effect, and the PDFs won't open for me.

I have tried both Explorer and Firefox to no avail. I finally had my fiance do it on his computer and that worked fine.

What I wonder, is perhaps USCIS has used a more updated version of Adobe than I can handle. My computer is Windows 2000 (yikes) and so I can no longer upgrade my Acrobat since the website only has XP, Vista, etc now.

Try another computer and hopefully that works for you. My fiance was successful getting the documents, so it's not the actual PDFs that are a problem.

Most likely your adobe reader is corrupt and/or you are running more than one version of the program on your system.

go to > add and remove programs (xp) or uninstall program(vista) (depending on what OS you are running) in your Control Panel

uninstall all old versions of adobe reader and visit http://get.adobe.com/reader/ to get the latest version.
