Hi,

My Fiancee and I submitted an application for a K1 visa back in October 08 but realised just before christmas that we had left out some information (copies of birth certificate, photo's etc - stupid I know). In realising our error, we sent the missing information to the vermont service centre quoting our reference number on a covering letter and on the envelope. Will this be matched up with our application? We are very concerned that this will now hold up the process.

The petition is currently received and pending and has not been worked on as far as we know.

Thanks in advance.

i don't know if they will put what you sent them with your petition or not

if not they will send you RFE later when they will work on your petition saying what they need and what u miss

Good luck and my best wishes for you

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Well we left out EVERYTHING apart from the forms that you both fill out. Anyone know if this will be rejected or whether they'll ask for more info? And also, how long does asking for more info delay the case?

Thanks

There's always a chance that your 2nd envelope will be reunited with your original application, but most likely you will get an RFE. This is just a request for the information that was missing. Once you submit that info, you SHOULD (being the operative word :) ) get a decision within a few weeks. I'm sure you aren't the first person and won't be the last person to forget important documents. Good luck and just have all the info you left out ready in case you get an RFE.
