ROBOT CUSTOMER SERVICE

:help: Once again as I do every week, I will call the USCIS about the status of my wife and they will ask me all the stuff, File Number, where I filed and who's the benificiary... if something consistent about the USCIS is the ROBOT customer service they have there. Same information they gave is the same one you read online, why even have them working? Why even pay these people working as they claim to be customer service when they can't even give you any information? Why waste taxpayers money, i figure that's what they get their paycheck from, if they don't know anything. How about use them to help out going through our documetns in the USCIS office and use their time and money wisely. They get PAID, why not earn that money...? :(

Ummmmn, I am getting disappointed but I just need to be strong for me and for my wife for us to be together. I am seeing alot of story here about other people misuse the system and being fraud. That's making it harder for everyone else that's genuine. On top of that we are seeing people getting approve before us after they filed 2-3 months ago...!

Sorry to vent, I just have to let it air out... cool!

Yes, we went through the same thing last year. It seems as though processing times have increased and increased--despite a tripling of the filing fees. Last year it was just the CSC that seemed to be taking forever. This year it looks like both centers have substantially longer processing times than they did several years ago.

When we first started checking into this thing, it seemed like it was maybe 5-6 months from filing to visa (if there were no problems). Now it seems it's more like a year. Hang in there.

The worse thing for my case, can't talk to the life person and need to make the internet schedule and wait a few weeks to see them. End up with a stupid answer. Sometimes, it will help if you email your regional congressman to step in. For my case, I emailed them couple times with no response back. But few weeks later, my wife got approve for her Green Card. Try all the free resources you can get before paying money to those Ahole lawyers.
