Desi,

did you get your 129f case number yet? I'm calling tomorrow..it's only been 5 days, but worth a shot eh?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I got the I-129F number in mail, AVR still says "No Records", but I am more interested in the I-130 and it is nowhere to be found. Operators as well as AVR say there is no record yet.

I believe 5 days is an ample time. I don't know what the heck is going on.

desiman - i think mumbai is going to give u a mid-march K3 interview date (or a feb date, who knows!, eh!). which i think is going to work out for you. i have a feeling that they will find your I-130 very soon and then you can quickly fly through NVC. since you will already have a march date, you can easily convert that interview from K3 to CR-1. maybe there is some good in this. take this opportunity to file your 2008 returns. this way you dont give them even a slightest chance to give you more runaround. good luck man, have faith, things will fall into place very soon. you have waited this long at VSC, trust me this wait is not going to be even a slightest pinch of what we have seen at the great Vermont Service Center.

USCIS (Vermont Service Center) Journey

NVC Journey

NVC Case Number assigned 01/02/09

Case Completed 01/21/09

End of Visa Journey

Thank cmnb. There's a good in this, but it's still rough not to get the I-130 in. Let's see what happens. I'm not all to optimistic about this...
