I-129F 3rd Page

Howdy all,

Several days ago on the K-1 Visa Forum someone posted a question concerning the 3rd page of the I-129F Petition. The question was "is the 3rd page required if the petetion was not filled by another party?"(i.e. attorney or other) One individual stated they had phoned USCIS and the response was "yes" this page is required and an N/A should be in the blank if it was not filled by another. Another responded with "it is part of the official form and should be sent".....Then the dread set in, for I made the assumption that since we did the work ourselves the third page was not required, so the Petition went off along with the $170 processing fee without the 3rd page of the Petition....

Now my question...Will we get an RFE for the 3rd page, or will the knuckleheads at USCIS send the whole packet back because it is incomplete...If they do send the whole packet back will I have to pay an additional $170 to start the whole process again?

I'm bummed about my assumption and possible muck-up it may have created....

Any thoughts or reassurance would be appreciated

Thanks,

David

If they send it back, they will send it back with the check. But, I doubt they will, if you had a 170.00 check stapled to the fromt of a paper towel they would cash the check and RFE the paper towel.

They cashed the check the day after the Petition was received, so maybe that is a good sign?

Thanks for you response!

If they cashed the check and you got your NOA1 as your signature states then I wouldn't worry about it ... Worse case would be a RFE once they actually sit down to review your case ....

It appears our cases are pretty much right on with each others, I'm very interested in seeing how they both pan out...Thanks for your input!
