Average time?

I'm going to be using the Vermont Service Center, from what I've been reading I should consider myself lucky, they seem to be the fastest. I've looked at the time lines and I've taken the IMBRA hold up into account. My questions is this:

If IMBRA delay is over on the 9th and everything went smooth with the application process, approximately how long does the process take to get my fiancee to the states using the Vermont Service Center?

It looks like 2-4 months from the time-lines I read for Vermont! can somebody confirm this and make my day great!!!

The law just became effective March 6 and the paperwork jam that the change created has not been rectified yet. It's too soon to know what 'normal' is. And frankly we may not have that answer for months yet.

Even at the best of times the USCIS time schedule cannot be predicted and there is always random cases that take a much longer or shorter time to adjucate for reasons that do not seem obvious. The IMBRA certainly is making things worse for those filing this year.

So, you may know this by now, do not make any concrete plans and just play it by ear. It is the best you can do. Good luck.
