hi everybody,

i need help. i'm about to mail my packet tomorrow. i'm confused if the emails and letters that we sent each other should also be translated to english? thanks for the help.

i think no need to translate it to english...but i think there are also english included on it...because in the philippines english is our second language, unless one of you coud'nt understand english...just try to send or receive more letters in preparation for your interview and this time try to write more english....good luck on your journey....

Everything sent to USCIS or brought to the US Embassy needs to be translated to English because this is our National Language. You should probably hold off on emails and letters and concentrate on pictures, photo copy of passport visa stamps, boarding passes, and evolution of relationship letter. and of course the required official documents, like birth certs, the forms and passport style picture. Emails and letters can be brought to the interview to show as supporting evidence for your relationship. Good Luck!

There's no need to include emails and letters with an I-129F petition. You can save all that for the interview where it will not need to be translated. The evidence to be included in the petition is to show you've met in person during the past two years. Use passport stamps, boarding passes and receipts for that. Letters are not evidence you've been together in person.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
