Well, my vacation did me a world of good - I went to the gym today bc I figured I needed to keep up the activity that I have been doing the past two weeks - I lost 12 pounds in the past two weeks!!!!!

Sus, I'm the same way. When I go to Jamaica I lose so much weight.

Me three!! I've been sweating trying to drop the extra holiday pounds but now I've just said let it be - they will disappear when I get there. I wonder if it would still be that way if we lived there.

I go to the gym at 5am, I'm in better shape that I thought according to the trainer. I have to put up with him for a few more weeks...wish I was getting quicker results like my husband...so UNFAIR!

Way to go Lawny!!! Don't stop girlie we can drop it. I wish I was like my hubby too. He sets his mind to losing it and poof it's gone.

On a good note. I've lost the 6lbs I gained over the holidays. I just have to keep eating right and exercising to drop more.

I got my hoola hoop and man oh man is that some hard work. You start sweating quick. I never knew the legs, back, and stomach would get such a good workout.

Intimacy, like charity, begins at home. If we cannot be intimate with ourselves, we have no way to bring to intimacy with another person.

Intimacy with ourselves takes time. We need time for rest, time for walks, time for quiet, and time to tune into to ourselves. We cannot completely fill up our lives with activities and become intimate with ourselves. Nor can we just sit quietly indefinitely and become intimate with ourselves. We have to have the time and energy to be our lives and to do our live in order to establish and intimate relationship with ourselves.

Surprisingly, as we become intimate with ourselves, we discover our connection with others

That's great, Lawny - I need to get back into that routine, I do so much better when I go to the gym before work - when I try to go after, I can lose my motivation, especially if I sit in traffic for a long time.

Congrats Wakey -

Thanks for the support ladies...I can't believe I use to be a BOMBSHELL at 180...I've managed to keep my hourglass figure, but I'm uncomfortable with the amount of weight I've gained. So, I'm working even hard this year...

I wish I had a trainer too but oh well..I use my Shape magazine to find new strength training moves...

The weighted hoop I bought was $29.99 from the hoopgirl site

I am thinking about hiring a trainer - My gym is running a special right now, so next week when I am back at home I think I am going to sign up.

The trainer I have is provided by the gym, but you can only use him for 3 sessions at a time, it just happens that I went to school with him. It pays to be nice to people. I haven't seen him in 20 years. His wife runs a bridal boot camp also and I'm going to check out one of her dance classes Wednesday night.
