MARM! Did you get the passport???!!!! I notice something a little different about our graduates list :) :)

Yes you noticed correctly

We got the passport on June 10 (Wed) and the courier took it on June 11 (Thurs) and the embassy received it June 12 (Fri) and we are praying hard and hoping that we get his passport back with the visa by the end of next week!

congrats!!!!

Interview in 10 hours and counting!!!

EEEEEEEK!!!

V Stressed out. Fingers crossed (in fact everything crossed) that I walk out of there with a pink slip.

I'm kind of expecting a blue slip but really hoping they just give me PINK.

Will touch base tomorrow afterwards and let you all know what happened.

Good luck for tomorrow! Even if it is a blue slip as you say for the co-sponsor issue, you will still be approved pending additional docs, so both ways, expect good news for tomorrow

I got it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow - I'm blown away, absolutely over the moon. Flying out on 26th June. Only 11 days away!!!!!!!!!!

I was really expecting approval with pending docs but we had no problems at all.

Interview lasted about 45 seconds. Only two questions asked:

Where did you meet?

When did fiance move to US

That's it, your application is all in order. Congratulations. You can expect your visa in 3 - 5 days.

My jaw dropped. I stared at him in disbelief for several seconds and then said That's it? I'm approved? and that was that.

I am totally shellshocked. 18 months waiting and over in 45 seconds. I can't believe it!!!!

Guys - thanks for being such a fountain of wisdom and understanding.

Aoife.

Thanks Ellie, hopefully it all goes well! I also have a question, when it comes to the interview, does the visa automatically get sent to the address that packet 3 and 4 are sent to, or can you request for it to be sent to a different address?? Do you fill out the envelope that the visa gets sent in? Thanks in advance :) x

Hmmmm, well I'm not sure if you can just pick any old address or not. If it helps, they actually manually asked me what address I would like to have it sent to.

You have my sympathies too.. we had to wait 6 months from NOA2 because of school and work. But just to give you some perspective, it has gone really quickly and I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow! Your time will come very soon.

CONGRATULATIONS ELLIE!! I'm glad it was so anti-climatic for you!

Now you can relax a bit.. well, when you have that visa in hand. ;)

Congrats on getting married Gemmie! (although it has been 2 days...but never too late to congratulate!)

We had Pat's sent to her office since she's not at home during the day. They only requested that Pat have a photo-id and a note authorizing the drop-off if they delivered it at night and she wasn't there.

Good luck!
